About Further Green
Why did we start?
​
Further Green was born of the necessity for change; a change from within, a change in humble, domestic yet utterly fundamental details. England is one of the top three highest energy consumers in Europe, with 43% of the UK’s energy consumption coming from buildings. Currently more than half of the UK's energy is generated using fossil fuels - a statistic we feel we should all be striving to reduce, in whatever way we can.

With so many other energy options available, and the feasibility of implementing them improving, increasing awareness is key to creating a change in mind-sets; understanding that unlike before, the energy you use, and how you use it, is a personally accountable decision with long-term effects.
There is an element of responsibility we all hold towards the planet, which, combined with the financial efficiency of re-usable power, makes the move towards sustainability the most logical choice. One by one, homes that choose to go green will lead the change that makes a difference in the bigger picture. We want to help you be a part of that change.
What do we do.
We aim to combine clean energy & heat (from sources such as heat pumps, solar PV and wind) with smart technology for the home (control, schedule and personalise your home and electronic devices). The two go hand in hand for those who wish to take real control of both their homes and their energy footprint.
Providing you with carefully tailored advice to suit your project and budget, our main goal is to find a solution that improves both your quality of life and eco-conscience, in the most efficient and context-sensitive manner possible.
How do we do it.
We have, combined, ten years experience in the technology and sustainable energy sectors. Offering guidance and assistance to homeowners, project managers, architects and builders, we complete a comprehensive study of each site, based on the client’s needs, before recommending the most suitable solution.
